The objective of this blog is to provide articles about Silverlight that I reprinted with permission.
Why this blog?
Currently, with the recent release of Silverlight 3.0, there are still enough few teaching resources on this technology. I deplore it, being myself an avid user of this technology.
During my wanderings on the net, I came across this blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/brada/
items, mostly those entitled Business Apps Example for Silverlight 3 and RTM. NET RIA Services (which are available from July on his blog) are extremely interesting but still problematic for us French for 2 reasons:
First, it is in English ...
Second: if we is a beginner, it is necessary to follow the video for the exercises because not everything is detailed in the text. The video is in English and not subtitled, so it is very accessible.
The most perceptive of you will already have deduced that I will initially bring benefit and detailing the exercises mentioned above.
For now this blog is empty, but it is expected to grow quite rapidly. I want to point out that the second part entitled Rich Data Query is particularly long to translate.
I would also like to thank Brad Abrams for giving me permission to translate and re-work his examples.
I chose the first items from Brad Abrams, it is because they are used during the presentation of Silverlight 3.0 and. Net RIA Services. They thus have a rapid approach of these technologies.
